Most clients feel a quick, sharp sensation as hair is removed, but pain is brief. Our experienced technicians use calming techniques and high-quality wax to reduce discomfort; topical numbing creams are available on request for extra sensitive skin.

Results usually last two to six weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles and hormonal factors. Regular waxing often slows regrowth and thins hair, leading to longer intervals between appointments over time.

Yes in many cases — we assess your skin during consultation. For active acne, open sores, or severe irritation we may recommend avoiding waxing until healed. We offer gentle waxes, test patches, and soothing aftercare to minimize reactions.

Clean, dry skin is best—avoid heavy creams or makeup on the area. Exfoliate gently 48 hours prior to remove dead skin, and ensure hair is at least 1/4 inch long. Avoid retinol products for several days before waxing.

Avoid sun exposure, hot showers, and strenuous exercise for 24 hours to prevent irritation. Apply a soothing aloe or antiseptic gel as recommended, avoid makeup on the area for a day, and exfoliate gently after 48 hours if needed.

Waxing can sometimes lead to ingrown hairs, but prevention is possible. Regular gentle exfoliation, moisturizing, and using products with salicylic acid help prevent trapped hairs. If ingrowns occur, we recommend professional treatment and avoiding picking or shaving the area.
